I really love how my quilt came out! I feel that it was very thoughtfully constructed, and all of the best parts were included in the quilt. It arrived very quickly as well.
Upfront pricing about shipping would be helpful. I feel that nickel and diming for every little thing is ridiculous. I didn't opt to put my tshirts in a specific order because you wanted to charge me for it. However they were in date/color order in the box and you should have seen that, but you put them in a completely different order with two of the same colors right next to one another. I spent $165 on a t-shirt quilt that is not very thick (the fleece you used is paper thin) and whoever arranged my quilt did an unacceptable job on the layout.
I like how well stitched it is. Wish the corners or center was also stitched to reduce possible balling up when washed/dried. Really like how it turned out
My fiance recently passed away. He loved his tshirts that he collected from everywhere we went. Couldn't think of a better use of the shirts as a way for me to feel close to him and my memories. Wrapping up in the blanket is like getting a hug from him. Thank you so much.
Super happy with the quilt, turnaround was about a month, quicker than expected. Great way to cut down on t-shirt storage and it’s super personal to me.
This is such a unique and resourceful project! I’m recommending it to all of my college friends and siblings! It’s very high quality and I also love Project Repats initiative with the socks made from the t shirt scraps.
My daughter passed away 6 months ago. Her Princess quilt arrived just in time for her Birthday Celebration. The photos look so wonderful..this is a forever keepsake. Thank you, Project Repat.
This is a quality product with personality!! Soft, durable, and one of a kind!!! I am so happy to hand this to our son! Im having another blanket made with tshirts!!!
I'd give it one star, but because it's made from clothing of a person we loved & miss, I'm giving it 2 stars.
A customer shouldn't have to read through articles or the FAQ to find out how to prepare clothing other than t-shirts. Disappointed with the section of the fabric used that I sent. Sent a whole front panel of a button down size 2XL or 3XL shirts & the portion that was used was the pocket & arm pit, area therefore this resulted in my being charged extra because I mistakenly took off the sleeves. So, where did the remainder of the front of the shirt go? Get recycled to make socks, etc??
The back fleece panel on it is 2 pieces sewn together. The previous quilts I ordered were a whole section. Not happy with this pieced together back side.
I bought it for myself as a birthday present & I simply love seeing my tshirts that bring so many memories to me come back to life. Thanks to your amazing work . I’ve been def recommending to friends and thinking of some Christmas gifts as well .
Horrible job! Supposed to be a twin; however, way smaller. Inaccurate cutting instructions…have had two quilts done before and did not have same issues. Tons of extra charges. I could have done a much better job myself for free. Company has turned into a scam!
Ordering was super easy. Mailing the shirts was effortless and before you knew it the beautiful quilt was delivered!!
We have ordered two now and our sons want to order quilts also.
Project Repat is great!!!
With not much variety to work with, Repat did a lovely job on a sentimental project. The recipient of this gift will love seeing the shirts of their loved one.
Love how my grandson’s favorite Tshirts are captured in a blanket he can see and feel forever. Not to mention his mom enjoys the memories each piece of fabric represents. Thank you for a truly made in the USA gift
I live in Assisted living. I sacrificed my collection of t-shirts so that my 2 granddaughters might have something tangible that they can remember me by.
I have arthritis in my hands, so I asked for help in cutting up all these shirts. Some neighbors volunteered, and together we did it.
This is a photo of me surrounded by the ladies who helped. They all have arthritis too!
I couldn’t be happier with the quality of my quilt! Also the container of beloved old shirts i never wear anymore that sat on a shelf in my closet is GONE! I love looking at it so much that i draped it over a chair so i can see it all the time. Next up a gift for our oldest son and more closet space yay!
I am very happy with my quilt. It seems very well made. The fleece backing is very soft.
It was so easy to get my shirts together and send them to Project Repat. The cost was reasonable.
I did not like the contract I had to sign saying that they could possibly be an unagreed upon up charge. (12" to 14" square) I told them that was not OK with me. That felt very sketchy.
My quilt doesn’t seem to be put together very well. I’m not sure how to describe it but the individual panels just don’t lay flat together. My best friend got a quilt made from this company and it looks great and very different but she got hers done a few years ago. Their policies have seemed to change drastically since she got hers done because she had a great experience and I did not. They seem to conveniently tuck away all of their little fees and policies on their website and you’re supposed to go searching for them in order to know about them. It was not made clear that the shipping would be $30 after I already paid for the quilt. When I asked about it, they sent me to their Q&A page where I was supposed to supposedly look in order to find out the price of shipping. I had assumed that I had already paid for shipping when I paid for the quilt itself so I don’t know why I would go looking for that. They will also randomly charge your cards without asking you for anything that they feel needs to be done to your quilt during the process. I understand that things may come up, but I feel like they should reach out to you and make sure it’s OK to charge the card before doing so. Overall, the experience was very impersonal and cold and I would not get another quilt from this company.
