This is my 3rd quilt with Project Repat. Years ago I had 2 made for my kids. This one was for me! I plan to do another one in the future. Highly recommend.

I’ve been saving my daughter’s soccer Tshirts for years and decided that her 30th birthday was the perfect time to have a quilt made for her. I’m beyond thrilled with how it came out..

Can I use both sides of a shirt?

Every shirt has two sides; a front and a back. We can use either (or both!) of these two sides in your quilt. To ensure we only include the exact sides you want, and to help ensure you have the exact number of shirt sides you need for the quilt size you ordered, we ask to you separate your t-shirt sides before you mail them to us.

What kind of shirts can I use?

We can upcycle all sorts of shirts together – tees, sweatshirts, jerseys, dry-fit shirts, button-downs, flannel, dress shirts, and mix them together.

How many shirts do I need?

You need just 6 shirts to start. Our most popular size is a full size, and that calls for 30 shirt sides. You can always make changes post purchase

How do I send my shirts?

You will receive instructions on how to prep and ship your shirts to us in your order confirmation email. Please do not cut your shirts before reading the instructions and watching the instructional video provided in that email. Heads up – you have to order each quilt separately, you can not order multiple in one order.

How do I know you're legit?

We started the business in 2012. You can find thousands of reviews all over the internet. And we have over 250K instagram folllowers. See examples from people at #projectrepat too

Do I need to know exactly which shirts I am using before I order?

No, most customers pick a size they like, and then organize closet later. No rush sending in your shirts. You can also always make changes in post purchase order portal.

How long does it take to get my t-shirt quilt back?

Turnaround is 5-6 weeks right now. We have a 2 week rush option too.

I see some negative reviews, what is the deal?

We have made hundreds of thousands of quilts. If people follow our simple prep instructions, they love what they get! If people want to send a bunch of small pieces and make a lot of requests for different labor-intensive stuff, we are not the best fit.

Do I need to cut the shirts into squares?

No, we cut your shirts into perfect squares for you with our clicker press machines! Although, we do ask our customers to separate the front and back sides of their shirts, only sending us the sides they want in their quilts (front sides, back sides, or both!). This ensures your quilt comes out just the way you want it to.

Where are you located?

We make all of our t-shirt quilts in Morganton, North Carolina. Customers ship their shirts to us.

What should I do with my old t-shirts?

Project Repat transforms your unused shirts into beautiful, fleece-lined, t-shirt quilts. We can use t-shirts, jerseys, pajamas, baby clothes and more!

I'm gifting my quilt. Do you offer gift bags?

We do! We have a reusable canvas gift bag. It fits all of our quilts perfectly – and lives on as a reliable tote for school, errands, weekend trips, and making more memories.

Do you make baby quilts?

Yes, we make baby quilts! The best option for these are clothes 12 Months - 3T. Many 6 Month+ items work as well.

What do you do with the scraps?

We turn our scraps into socks – called Scrappy Socks! They are made locally to where our t-shirt quilts are made, and they are available on our site for purchase.
